Air Ticket:

       Check with your travel agent about the air ticket. 

Health insurance:

       You can buy insurance when you arrive,  but it is advisable to have a health insurance from your own country. 

Vaccination:

       Generally you do not need vaccination when you come to Canada.

Things to bring: 

a. Clothing:

       Make sure that you will bring the clothes for all the seasons you will be staying, Vancouver is sunny in the summer and rainy in the winter.   you can also buy some clothes after arrival which are best suit for the weather here.   

b. Other personal items:

       Bring some items that make you feel at home, for example, CDs, photos and some journals, etc.

c. Gifts:

       It is often a good idea to bring some small souvenir gifts from your country, since you will be making new friends and it is always a good idea to give gifts from you own country.
